Quater Research and Development builds micro positioners and
translation stages to fit
most all of the probe stations designs built today. Here is a list of some of the probe stations
our positioners have been used on. Micromanipulator, SUSS Microtech, Cascade

Used to probe features of 5 microns or larger
- XYZ 500 Series

Used to probe features smaller than 5 microns with
the motor option these positioners are good in the submicron area.
- XYZ 2000 Series

With 2" of movement and capable of a 50 lb load these
units are suitable for moving optics around at half micron increments.
- Motorized
Positioners

We have built a variety of custom motorized positioners.
We offer .500 inches of travel in submicron increments up to 2" of travel.

We have many options for probing. High Frequency probe
adapters to mount Cascade Microtech, SUSS Microtech and/or GGB or Picoprobe®
